(Winifred b. 4-5-1921, Charters Towers, nr. Townsville, N. Queensland -

Stewardess-Royal Australian Navy 1943-1946).

Winifred died 7th March, 1988.

The website of the Local and Naval Studies Library, Plymouth Central Library, Community Services, Plymouth, shows that Winifred (nee Fleming) was a war bride who came to England 1946 on board HMS Victorious.
