Occupation given as timber merchant.

1911 census: same address and occupation as in 1901 but Alice, now widow, is Head of Household.

 

Passenger lists give an A.E.Tunaley, born 1886 Male, travelling 1921 Liverpool to India (Bombay).

Albert, permanent address given as 36, Errwood Road, Levenshulme, Manchester died 15 January 1923 at Nepean Nursing Home, Bombey, India. He left £1609 7s 5d to his widowed mother, Alice.

Thomas Gronow Tunaley Jnr., appears to have taken over his father's business 1903 - Thomas Gronow Jnr., like his father, a timber merchant.

The business-"Maddock and Tunaley Ltd"- officially ceased trading 10/7/1959 eight months after Thomas Jnr. died.
